Fighting The Enemy

Since the first time I turned into the Gorilla, I try to protect the civilians from thieves and danger. However, the weather here in Manhattan is harsh, and the winters very cold. The streets are very dirty and there are thrown newspapers all around. Because of the cold and the filth and becuase I can't stand the smell of newspapers, I knew I had to get out of there. Where to? I decided to go back to my home land and my roots, Aretz Yisrael. It was just a year ago when I made Aliya and found a small comfortable home in Ness Tziona.

I woke up in the night confused. Something felt a little bit different. It was dark and I could not see my hand in front of me. I felt a little dizzy and I hugged my body and felt fur. I touched my face--wet. I was a gorilla. From then on, I wake up in the middle of the night and I am Gorilla Man. I find my Gorilla power very handy. I have physical strength 5 times that of a regular man and I am an expert at communicating with animals. The ladies come and love me and we share many flirtatious evenings. And the ladies go when the morning comes and I return to my homeless man self.

The Day I Found The Banana

I've been homeless for as long as I can remember. I had a home and a family and a name, once, but now I have none of those things. During the day I roam the streets hoping to find a meal, and during the nights I sleep in the cold. At least, that's how it was until one particular night, the date unknown to me, only that it was wintertime and I was particularly cold. Hunger and cold kept me from sleeping, so I went looking through the alleys for food, anything that could fill my stomach. Shivering and deliriously hungry, I saw a white trash bin down the road  that seemed to be glowing. Part of me, thinking that this was a hallucination, was concerned that my mental condition was beginning to deteriorate as well, but I followed my intrigue towards the bin. As I drew nearer, the glow around the rim of the closed bin intensified, just begging to be opened. I was shivering with fear and excitement, and before I had decided whether or not to open it, my hand reached out and did it anyways. And there it was, resting in the bin so peacefully, magically. A perfectly yellow, unbruised, glowing banana, like God himself had placed it there. I hesitated for a moment, totally unsure about what to do with this finding. But my desperate need for nourishment swept over me and I immediately began to salivate. I reached into the bin and without another thought, peeled and gobbled the still glowing banana in two bites. Within moments, I felt dizzy and everything around me started to glow, so brightly that I had to shut my eyes. A moment later I fell to the ground and that is all I can remember...
